Agua Amarga is a small fishing village in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It is nestled between two hilltops that provide protection to the beautiful village beach. The village has many restaurants and bars, some of which sit directly on the sand. There is very little traffic in the village, and no roads around the beach which means it is very safe for children. There are a selection of shops in the village selling both groceries and household items and gift and boutique clothing. With a healthy population of permanent residents, the village is a very friendly place from which to explore the park all year round.
